Acadian Ambulance's billing department files claims with:

• Commercial insurance carriers
• Medicare
• Medicare HMOs
• Medicaid (Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi)
• Private industry
• Veterans administration
• Worker's comp
• Liability insurance

Additionally, the billing department makes payment arrangements with customers who have no insurance or who have co-pays/deductibles after their insurance pays.

The billing department has specialists who can answer any billing-related questions. These specialists can be reached at 800-259-2222 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
